Would you like a small companion to pamper and love? Are you the care-giver kind of person? Well, Monte is the sweet, care needing kind of boy. He gets along well with cats and other small, quiet type dogs, as he's not into rough-housing, but he would be more than happy with just his own special person. Catching rays in the sun, and sleeping under the covers is his specialty.
Little Monte was born deaf in one ear, but he can hear all your loving talk to him great out of the other one. He also has dry eyes, so needs daily eye drops &#xxxx; but ooooh those drops make his eyes feel so much better &#xxxx; they are a real treat and he enjoys them and not expensive. He wasn&#xxxx;t treated for it prior to being in rescue so his vision is somewhat shadowy too. Monte needs a devoted forever 'mom' to spoil him, and give him all the attention he's missed in his past. Just 'cause he can't hear really good, and he can't see really good, and he gets a little seizure once in a while he would love you to pieces for loving him.
You know all those active &#xxxx; energy plus &#xxxx; rowdy Xolos? Not our little Monte boy. He is looking for a 'let's just hang out together' and 'we can take care of each other' kind of companion. Monte could be your forever best friend. His seizures happen occasionally and do not need medication- just someone to hold him through them. This boy really needs some of his own loving and a chance to enjoy his life.
