Update: Volvo is now a year old, and has turned out to b e quite the cat! He is very friendly, active and playful. He never ceases to amuse us with his antics. Volvo and his family are called the "Car Cats" here at BAPS because they were all name after cars. The Car Cats (Cadillac, Ferrari, Mercedes, Porshe, Lexus, Bently, Volvo and Acura) were found in a taped up box in a field behind Safeway. Someone left all of these sweet kitties to die!
BAPS has adoption fees. We are now doing Cat Adoption by Donation. Every cat at the shelter gets neutered or spayed, their first (and often second if they're here long enough) vaccinations, deworming, a microchip and six weeks of Pet Health insurance. This is about a $300.00-$400.00 value excluding any extra medical care the animal needs done.
